What you need to use Payer Authentication with ArCart shopping cart software

Verified by Visa
When a customer uses their Visa card in Payer Authentication enabled ecommerce software, the customer can choose to take advantage of the increased security provided by Verified by Visa. They will be asked to use the Verified by Visa process during checkout. If they choose to enlist, they will be asked to verify their identity, and then will create a password. From then on, in order to complete online purchases from participating stores, the customer must provide their password when making online purchases.

MasterCard SecureCode
A customer using MasterCard in Payer Authentication enabled shopping cart software is asked if they want to participate in the program. They must provide personal information that identifies them, and they create a password that is associated with the credit card. Once enrolled in the program, users must provide their unique password associated with the enrolled credit card to ensure to merchants that purchases are valid.
